Notes (VOOS)

[Ge.1:2] Is to be emphasized again here as well, that the focus of Bible is not on scientific research, but on the relationship between:

As such the cosmological and creation related topics are treated only in one / two chapters on a level that even the simplest persons would understand either today or 3,000 years ago.
Furthermore the focus in the cosmological description is on the Earth and not as much on the big bang or the formation of galaxies or on the Solar system.

Consequently the Earth's formation is described from "inside" the Earth's "surface" and not from outside, from the space.
This is why the Son, Moon and the stars are showing up much later than the formation of plants that developed under a thick cloud.
Although the light was able to penetrate with difficulties through thick clouds it took quite some time until the atmosphere cleared out.

[Ge.1:2] - The Spirit (of God) in original Hebrew has the following meanings: spirit, pant, breeze, wind => God’s life forming breeze was hovering over the waters.

[Ge.1:11] - God trusted the Earth for creating and nourishing plants.

[Ge.1:22] - Blessed them: God gave them the power to nurture and multiply themselves.

[Ge.1:24] - Including "livestock"

[Ge.1:26] - In God's image and likeness: since God is Spirit and not body, thus:
"image" = means the goodness that radiates from our face,   "likenes" = is our inner love (agape)

[Ge.1:27] - "humankind": (singular!) = man and woman are meant to be forming a unity bond
