Song of songs 1
1 The Song of Songs from Solomon:

Bride:
2 "Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth —
...for your love is sweeter than wine.
3 your anointing oils have a wonderful fragrance,
your name is like perfume poured out.
No wonder the young women adore you!

4 Take me away with you, let's run!
Bring me into your chambers my king!"

Girls:
"We will be glad and rejoice for you,
we will praise your love more than wine."

Bride:
"How right they are to adore you!

5 I am dark tanned but beautiful,
darker than yours daughters of Jerusalem,
like the tents of Kedar and
  like the curtains of Solomon.

6 Do not stare at me because I'm dark,
it's the sun that tanned me.
My step brothers were angry with me
and made me look after their vineyards,
while my own vineyard I had to neglect.

7 Tell me, o you whom my soul loves,
where do you pasture your flock,
where you have them rest at noon?
For why should I search you shrouded
beside the flocks of your friends?"

Boys:
8 "If you do not know,
  most beautiful among women,
follow the tracks of the sheep
  and pasture your young goats
by the tents of the shepherds!"

Groom:
9 "To me my love,
you are like the beautiest mare (girl/female horse)
  among the pharaoh's chariots!

10 Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments,
your neck with its strings of necklace.

11 We will make you ornaments of gold,
  studded with silver."

Bride:
12 "While I am sitting with my king at his table,
my perfume perfume surrounds us with its fragrance.

13 My beloved to me is like a sachet of myrrh
  resting between my breasts.

14 My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blossoms
  from the vineyards of Ein-Gedi."
(Ein-Gedi was well-known for its parfume plants)

Groom:
15 "How beautiful you are, my darling,
  how stunningly beautiful!
  Your eyes are like doves."

Bride:
16 "How handsome you are, my beloved!
  Oh, how charming!
  Our bed is leafy greenery."

Groom:
17 "Cedars are the beams of our houses,
  roof is of cypresses."
